On August 31, 2003, Sandcastle Stadium will be hosting "Rock and Awe," a
full day of entertainment, including contemporary Christian music, minor league baseball and fireworks. This event is an excellent opportunity to invite people, who may not otherwise visit a church, to hear the gospel and experience South Jersey’s finest worship music.

In addition to the on-field activity, the right field concourse will offer a mini marketplace filled with books, CDs, Christian T-shirts, and gospel tracts. There will also be a prayer chapel and literature to inspire and encourage believers in their walk with Christ.

This event was not contrived by the Surf marketing department to boost sales. Rather, it came about solely as the work of our Lord, and it is a testament to the prayer of Jabez. Groups of people, unknown to each other and the Surf management, were each praying the same prayer for an outreach concert in Atlantic City.
